Make Your Own Decorative Luminous Glass

The glass must be cleaned and dried before painting, regardless of whether you use luminous paints or sticks. If you put the glass next to a light, it will glow more intensely afterwards.

Make decorative luminous glass yourself

Small children like to have a little light in their room so that they can feel comfortable and safe at night. A decorative luminous glass is perfect for this.

However, this allows them to adopt the bad habit of  not being able to sleep without light. It also makes the electricity bill more expensive.

But today we are going to present you with a great idea that  looks pretty and with which children can safely fall asleep without the light being annoying.

You can make a nice luminous glass yourself and only need a little material. The result is a “magical” lamp that still lights up when the light is switched off.

Then we will explain two ways to make a luminous glass, you won’t need long for it.

Many stores that sell party supplies have  chopsticks that glow in the dark. Mostly these are used for birthday parties as well as other celebrations.

These sticks usually have a diameter of 0.50 cm and a length of 20 cm, and they can be put together at the ends.

These light sticks are available in different colors, you can usually choose between red, yellow, green, pink, purple, orange and blue. Some even have several colors at the same time, which makes them particularly interesting.

You can use your favorite colors for the luminous glass  It’s best to combine at least two colors to get great results.

For this you need noctilucent colors that store the incident light during the day in the form of excitation energy and then release it again in the dark. Depending on the pigments  used, greenish, bluish, yellowish or pink light is reflected.

We recommend that you combine several colors here as well in order to achieve great effects.

Now you can briefly put the glass in the light  so that it can absorb it and then shine in the dark.
