4 oil treatments for healthy hair

Experts are recommending more and more to use ecological beauty products. Have you heard of the  hair oil treatments ?

More and more women are using natural cosmetics and are aware of the risks and side effects of various additives in commercially available care products. These can contain, for example, petroleum derivatives, parabens, paraffin and xenoestrogens.

These substances are very harmful to the organism and it takes a long time before they can be excreted again.

Organic cosmetics have great advantages and give better results than commercial brands. In addition, they are usually inexpensive and easy to use for everyone.

For ecological cosmetics, products are mostly used that we have at home for cooking, such as oil, whose active ingredients are excellent for the care of our hair.

Oil treatments

In this post we introduce you to four oil treatments that ensure healthy, shiny hair.

You’ll see that even without spending a lot of money on well-known brands of shampoos or creams (which also contain pollutants that go straight into the bloodstream from the skin), you can get glowing skin and shiny hair.

Sweet almond oil for your hair

Sweet almond oil is perfect for dry hair and split ends. It is applied to the tips with a light massage, but you can also massage it into the scalp as needed.

Then put on a plastic hood, because the oil works better when it is warm. After an hour, wash your hair with shampoo as usual, it is best to use a natural, ecological shampoo and then you can use a conditioner.

Coconut oil

Natural coconut oil is also ideal for beautiful, shiny hair. It is particularly recommended for dandruff and dry hair.

Coconut oil strengthens the hair and promotes healthy, faster hair growth. Make sure the oil is natural and unrefined. Coconut oil is used like almond oil.

If you have very dry and damaged hair due to dyeing, you can rub a few drops of coconut oil into your hands and massage into the ends of your hair after drying and styling.

This gives your hair a softer, healthy aspect and is no longer electrically charged.

Avocado oil

Avocado oil is also particularly suitable for damaged, dry hair. It is more intense than most oils and has an exceptionally regenerative effect, but should not be used on oily hair.

It is very easy to use, leave the oil on your hair for about 20 minutes and then wash it off with shampoo as usual. You can repeat this application every 15 days to get the desired effect.

Argan oil

Argan oil is the king of moisturizing and regenerating oils. It contains large amounts of nutrients and amino acids. Due to its exceptional active ingredients, this oil is used in many cosmetics.

Argan oil can be used on dry and oily hair, and it is recommended for both hair and scalp. With this oil you get shiny, silky hair.

Since argan oil is relatively expensive, it is often mixed with other oils. Make sure that you are using natural, cold-pressed argan oil.

Make yourself a mask every 15 days and leave it on for at least an hour. Rinse the hair well afterwards, as the smell of the oil is not very pleasant.

However, it will go away if you wash your hair well. You can also use the oil on your face, it is moisturizing and rejuvenating the skin.

Do not forget…

A plastic cover is recommended for all oil treatments, as this helps the nutrients in the oils work better.

If you have greasy or flaky hair, you can add a few drops of tea tree oil to the oil.  Use 5 drops for 100 g of oil. This is how damaged hair is repaired. After three applications you will see the results, hair will be softer, shinier and healthier.

Whichever oil you choose, you’ll see great results, but you’ll need to be consistent and use the oil regimens regularly.
