  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)
  • 2 tbsp honey (50 g)
  • 3 tbsp butter (60 g)
  • 1 tbsp salt (15 g)
  • 1 tbsp gluten-free baking powder (15 g)
  • ½ cup of olive oil (125 ml)

  1. First, heat the water with the butter in a large pan on medium heat.
  2. Then add the salt and stir everything well.
  3. Then mix the honey, gluten-free baking powder and rice flour in another bowl.
  4. Then pour the butter mixture into the bowl and stir everything well so that the ingredients blend together.
  5. Let the mass sit for at least 5 minutes to make it easier to shape.
  6. Then put on a pan and heat the olive oil in it on medium heat.
  7. Fill the churro batter into a piping bag and shape it directly in the pan. Now you can deep-fry it until the churros turn a golden brown color.

  2. Then bring the water to a boil and then turn down the temperature.
  3. Pour the water into the bowl with the dry ingredients until a thick paste forms.
  4. Then add chocolate and vanilla extract and knead everything well. The consistency will be a bit firmer than in the previous recipe, but this will allow you to determine the shape of the churros yourself.
  5. Shape the churros into the shape you want. You can also use a piping bag for this.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a pan on medium heat and add the churros as soon as the oil is hot. Wait until they are golden brown on both sides.
